MUMBAI: This year, several actors contracted COVID-19 as shooting resumed and they went back on the sets.

In 2020, Amitabh Bachchan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Neetu Kapoor among many others tested positive for coronavirus. This year too, unfortunately, several B-towners contracted it and went into home quarantine. Have a look.

Kartik Aaryan recently contracted coronavirus and confirmed the same through a social media post. On Instagram, he asked his fans to pray for his speedy recovery. He shared a picture of a plus sign and wrote, Positive ho gaya, Dua karo."

Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor tested positive a few weeks ago. His mother Neetu Kapoor confirmed the same via an Instagram post. She wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well.”

Sanjay Leela Bansali
Around the same time when the news of Ranbir testing COVID-19 positive surfaced, reports of Sanjay Leela Bansali testing positive for the deadly virus also started doing rounds. According to a media report, the national award-winning filmmaker opted for self-quarantine.

Satish Kaushik
Veteran actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago. He took to Twitter to inform his fans and followers about his condition. The actor also urged those who came in his contact in the last few days to get COVID-19 tests.
