MUMBAI: When talking about content that really opened up the audiences to newer worlds and connecting stories, we can't miss out on Tumbbad, a movie that truly left the audience amazed with its gripping story and characters.
Sohum Shah really created this masterpiece with all his love and dedication, only to bring to you one of the most unique and horrifying stories that is sure give you Goosebumps. Sohum Shah has really given his all in the making of this film and it was highly appreciated which is something the movie deserves.

The movie was written by Mitesh Shah, Adesh Prasad and Rahi Anil Barwe. Rahi and Adesh also directed the movie along with Anand Gandhi.
Interestingly, the movie re-released in theatres on 13th September and no wonder the audience response was amazing. However, what surprised everyone was that a re-released movie did better than movies which released at that time.
When the movie released for the first time, it opened up with Rs 65 L and Rs 13.25 Cr in lifetime collections. However, the game has changed as after its re-release, the movie opened up to Rs 1.65 Cr. On day 8, the movie collected around Rs 2.50 Cr net. It's 10-days total comes to Rs 20.75 Cr.
It is interesting to see the movie finally getting the attention it always deserved. Not just that but the makers also surprised everyone after announcing Tumbbad 2. It’ll be interesting to see what the makers come up with next.
