MUMBAI: Vardhan Puri has been a part of the Hindi movie industry for quite some time now. He is the grandson of the legendary actor Amrish Puri. Vardhan Puri made his debut with the movie and started his movie career with the Hindi movie Yeh Saali Aashiqui in 2019. However, before making his big screen debut, he had also appeared in a couple of short movies like Bumbhaiyya and The Bastards.

The actor will soon be seen in a couple of upcoming movies like Dashmi and Nautanki. However, there are no updates found about these movies.

Now Team Tellychakkar got in touch with Vardhan Puri for an exclusive conversation which went interestingly well as the actor revealed some really intriguing insights when asked if he feels responsible as he is the grandchild of Amrish Puri. He was also asked whether he is trying to earn recognition or does he believe that he will earn it at the right time.

Vardhan Puri replied to this by saying that he feels responsible as a human being and that as an artist everyone has a different path and destination. He added that he feels no pressure or responsibility for being that artist’s (Amrish Puri) grandson but he feels responsible for being that human being’s grandson as he was really a gentleman and the kindest human being he had ever met.

When asked about recognition, Vardhan Puri said that his job is to keep working hard as it’s just been a few years for him in the industry and with his experience of being behind the camera as a writer and an assistant director he understands that it is a process. He added that one should not wait for the destination but enjoy the journey as the destination is your prize. He also said that a person should keep working, keep growing and keep doing something that will allow you to wake up with a smile the next day. He feels that it is very important as an artist as there is no end because even if tomorrow you become the greatest star in the universe, you will still wake up and say that you want something bigger and better.

When asked if he had to deal with the tag of nepotism, Vardhan Puri said that he was very young when his grandfather had passed away, due to which he never had to face that and he has been very lucky because his admirers and fans have been very kind to him. He also said that his grandfather wasn’t present when he was entering the industry, which is why there was no push or phone calls for support and so his process was doing theatres, getting done with auditions and getting a film. He also added that he got his upcoming movies on the basis of his merit which came from his work.
