MUMBAI: It’s been exactly one year since the pandemic hit the entire world and took all of us under the lockdown life. 

After a few months things got better and people thought that the case was reducing and we were coming to normalcy.

But then just a few weeks ago the entire nation got a shock as the numbers suddenly started to shoot up and India as a country was recording his high spike of cases in less than 24 hours. 

Especially Maharashtra saw the highest spike since September 2020.  The one industry that is badly hit with this pandemic is the entertainment industry, where actors from Bollywood and television have been detected COVID positive. 

Superstars like Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Govinda to television actors like Ruplai Ganguly,  Amar Upadhyay and many more have been tested COVID in the second wave. 

Now unfortunately the recent ones to join the brigade are actors Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.

The two were shooting for their movie Mr Lele and now the entire unit has stopped shooting.  Several junior artists were also tested for Covid positive. 

Vicky shared a post on his social media and said that in spite of taking all the precautions he has been tested Positive and has quarantined himself and is taking the medicines prescribed to him by his doctor, he also requested everyone who has come in contact with him to immediately get tested. 

Bhumi too, shared a post and confirmed she has been tested positive for COVID and has quarantined herself. She requested everyone to not take this pandemic lightly and wear a mask and keep sanitizing their hands. 

Owing to the current situation the government has brought his strict laws where a night curfew will be observed from 8pm – 7am on weekdays and on weekends it’s a complete lockdown.
