MUMBAI :Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal who was last seen in the biopic Sardar Udham will next be seen in a never before seen avatar in the upcoming film Govinda Naam Mera. The comedy crime thriller film that was earlier supposed to be released in theaters will now have an OTT release. Sharing the release date and his look in the film on his social media page, Vicky wrote, “Govinda naam mera, naachna kaam mera. Aa raha hun jald, apni kahaani le kar! #GovindaNaamMera streaming from 16th December.”

Govinda Naam Mera also stars Kiara Advani and Bhumi pednekar as the leading ladies. Bhumi shared the film’s release date writing, “Ayeee, Gauri aa rahi hai. Taiyaar ho ki nahi?”, while Kiara wrote, “Come and say hi huku with Suku!” 

Producer Karan Johar shared the poster and wrote, “Hero, his wife & his girlfriend - what could possibly go wrong, right? A LOT it seems! Get ready for some murder, mystery, madness & masala!"

"Plot twists that will leave you in a tizzy! Get ready because some masaledaar entertainment is coming straight to your home screens.”

Actress Kiara Advani who last impressed fans with her performance in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, expressed her excitement on being a part of the film and said, “Govinda Naam Mera is a unique film. It is quite trippy, in fact I still have to figure out the name of the genre because it is absolutely different. I was thrilled to be a part of that world. We have tried something new with the film. I hope people find it as interesting as we did.”

On the work front Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s next with Sara Ali Khan.
