MUMBAI: Bollywood is a very special place but with a poor memory. Scores of actors make their debut each year and try their luck in the show business. Some of them become audience favorites, while others fail to make a mark. There are so many stars who were well-known a few years back. The industry has seen many actresses who made a mark and starred in many films, only to fade away later.

The early 2000s was buzzing with new faces in the industry. Several actresses made their mark on the big screen, some of whom we have no trace of today.

Here is a list of 5 now-forgotten actress whom we want to see coming back to the screens.

Mahima Chaudhary
Mahima has been up and about her personal life and career in her latest interviews. Not only did she speak about her troubled marriage and miscarriages but also how her film career slowly faded away. She was one of the ruling actresses in the early 2000s and we want her to return to the screen!

Gracy Singh
Gracy won many awards for her terrific acting chops in Oscar-nominated Lagaan opposite Aamir Khan and since then, there was no looking back for her in the industry. Having starred in films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Gangaajal, Gracy was flying high on the radar of success. However, the actress started doing lesser films and was last seen in the television series Santoshi Maa. The actress hasn’t been a part of films for long.

Rimi Sen
Rimi made a promising debut in Bollywood in 2003’s superhit film Hungama and went on to star in several big banner projects opposite leading stars. Years later, she returned back to the glam world with Bigg Boss 9. In an interview with ETimes, Rimi had shared that may be she gave up too early on her career and should have stayed back in the industry for 3-4 more years. We are hoping that the actress returns to acting soon.

Lara Dutta
Former Miss Universe, Lara Dutta now, is a hands-on mommy. Though she is quite active on Instagram but not so much on the film front. Lara was the lead in many Bollywood projects.

Tanushree Dutta
Tanushree spearheaded the #MeToo movement in 2018 in India. Once counted among the hottest actresses in the industry, Tanushree’s transformation had left fans thinking. Of late, the actress has resorted back to fitness and flaunts her transformed self on social media. She, too, plans to return back to acting soon.
