When John Abraham took a probable potshot at Salman Khan for THIS reason

John Abraham's probable comments on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan raised several eyebrows though he did not take his name.

MUMBAI: John Abraham had turned producer with Vicky Donor in 2012 and his film turned out to be a super hit. The actor has been impressing the critics ever since with his films which have produced so far. John has been extremely choosy about his films and the last few years since Madras Cafe which released in 2013, John signing a handful of films, most of which have been profitable at the box office.

In one of his interviews, John had spoken about how social media has taken over our real lives and why actors are so obsessed with being on a 'list'.

The Dostana star said, "As an actor, you are here to show your craft. How much money do you want to mint? Why is it important to be on a list of the highest earners? What about the audience you are robbing with crap you put out? I have always worked hard for credibility, I get that, I move on quietly. I wish we had more actors cut out from the same fabric."

The actor's comment seems to be directed at the Bollywood stars who make it to the highest-paid actors' list. For instance, Salman Khan was leading the highest-paid celebrities in India for the third time in a row in 2018.

On the work front, however, Salman's only release in 2018 was Race 3 and that had badly tanked at the box-office.

John also said that celebrities who are trolled on social media are mostly 'asking for it'.

"There is but aren't celebrities also asking for it, wearing funny clothes outside airports and doing funny things. You can only be laughed at if you decide to be a clown in the circus. It's your choice. I'm not an actor who dances at shows or weddings for money. I find it demeaning. I'm not saying that I'm right, but I wouldn't do it, ever," said John.

John has always been quite a private person and never entertained nonsense which goes on social media. The actor has always wisely used social media platforms.

Though John did not take any A-list actor's name but everyone clearly knew who he was talking about.
