Will Avatar: The Way of Water beat the collection of these Hollywood biggies in India?

This year, a few Hollywood films have done well at the box office in India. Now, everyone is eagerly waiting for Avatar 2 which is titled Avatar: The Way of Water. The film is slated to release on 16th December 2022.

MUMBAI : While many Bollywood films failed to make a mark at the box office, there were many Hollywood movies that Indian moviegoers decided to watch in theatres. Now, everyone is gearing up for the release of Avatar 2 which is titled Avatar: The Way of Water. The James Cameron directorial is all set to release on 16th December 2022, and the advance booking reports say that the movie will take a bumper opening at the box office.

But, before Avatar: The Way of Water releases, let’s look at how much other Hollywood biggies collected at the box office this year…

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

We have many marvel fans in India. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, which was released earlier this year, collected Rs. 147 crores gross at the box office.

Thor: Love And Thunder

Chris Hemsworth starrer Thor: Love And Thunder was the fourth Thor film. The movie collected Rs. 127 crores gross at the box office in India.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Marvel movies rule the box office in India. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever collected Rs. 86.75 crores gross at the ticket windows.

Black Adam

After Marvel, now DC has come on the list. Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson collected Rs. 57.52 crores gross at the box office in India.

Jurassic World: Dominion

Finally, a movie that is not from the Marvel or DC universe! Jurassic World: Dominion collected Rs. 56.6 crore gross at the Indian box office.

Well now, it will be interesting to see if Avatar 2 will be able to beat these movies at the box office.
