MUMBAI: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most popular couples in B-town.

Like any other immensely popular celebrities, the couple is often mobbed by their fans when they step out in public. This is one of the main reasons why Bollywood stars prefer to have their personal bodyguards and they spend huge amount of money when it comes to their security. And just like other B-town stars, actress Anushka Sharma too has a personal bodyguard. The name of Anushka's bodyguard is Sonu and he is with Anushka for years now. Sonu's real name is Prakash Singh and according to reports Anushka Sharma pays him a very fat salary for his services. Notably, Sonu was with Anushka even before she got married to Team India skipper Virat Kohli.

According to Zoom, Sonu's annual salary is around Rs 1.2 crore which is without doubt more than the annual CTC of CEOs of many companies. Sonu, however, is not just a bodyguard to Anushka and Kohli as the couple treats him as a family member. Anushka celebrates Prakash Singh aka Sonu's birthday every year. Anushka celebrated Sonu's birthday on the sets of 'Zero' while she was shooting for the film with Shah Rukh Khan. Sonu also guards Virat Kohli during public appearances. It is to be noted that Sonu provides security to Virat despite the Indian skipper having his own personal security.
