MUMBAI: With Bollywood returning to work, several films are lined up for a release soon. Many movies are lined up to hit the screens. Many of these films mark the much-anticipated comeback of Bollywood actresses, who are known to cast a spell on the audience with their strong onscreen presence with their acting skills and charm. 

1- Jaya Bachchan

Jaya Bachchan has been roped in for Karan Johar’s recently announced big-ticket movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles, the film will also feature Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi alongside the evergreen Jaya Bachchan. Directed by Karan Johar and penned by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy, the film is to be released in 2022.

2-Neetu Kapoor

While Neetu Kapoor was a little emotional while shooting her first film after the demise of her husband Rishi Kapoor, she will be making her comeback with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. She was last spotted in ‘Besharam’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor.

After making special presence in hit films like ‘Dostana’ and more, Shilpa returned to film sets after a hiatus of four years. She will be seen in ‘Hungama 2’ alongside Meezaan, Paresh Rawal, and more. She has also another film lined up which has not yet announced its release date.

4-Bhagyashree

Heartthrob Bhagyashree will next be seen on the big screen after 11 years with Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming biopic on late actress-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa. While the release of Thalaivi has been currently pushed due to the pandemic scene, the makers have clarified that the film is only meant for theatres. In the film, Bhagyashree will be seen playing the role of Kangana’s mother.

Lara Dutta will be opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Bell Bottom’ alongside Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. ‘Bell Bottom’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 27.
