YRF to create a ‘SPY UNIVERSE’ with SRK-Salman Khan-Hrithik Roshan!

YRF to come up the Spy Universe, across over between SRK, Salman and Hrithik Roshan, Read On

MUMBAI: In Hollywood we have seen few cinematic universes like the marvel and the DC, which comprises several different superheroes from different movies coming together fighting for common villains.

In India, Rohit Shetty has tried to create India's first Cinematic Universe. Rohit Shetty’s action drama Sooryavanshi- scheduled to release next year, that has Akshay Kumar in the lead will bring together cop characters from two of his other hits, Ajay Devgn from Singham and Ranveer Singh from Simmba. Shetty’s film will create Bollywood’s first cop universe and mega-budget film franchise that will see different characters cross over to narratives.

YRF to create its own ‘Spy Universe’!

And now after Rohit Shetty, one of India’s biggest Film Production houses- YashRaj Films, following this super effective trend, is all set to create its own Spy Universe and to bring some of the biggest Bollywood stars together

Most of us will never jet around the world for a secret mission, jump out of a plane to evade an enemy, or be involved in a high-speed car chase. But we can escape into a thrilling adventure via movies without ever having to leave the couch.

Obviously we don’t have a Bond or a Bourne, Hawk or even a Hitchcock to entertain us with such severely cool spy movies. And in all probability, the interest that Agent Vinod has garnered will die soon. But YashRaj Films has a solution to it!

By now, we all know that ShahRukh Khan is all set to return to celluloid with YRF’s ‘Pathan’ after a too-long self-imposed sabbatical, along with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. A week ago, Movie Shuvy broke the news that Salman Khan will have a cameo in ShahRukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’. But we are yet to break another cracking news. According to our exclusive report, Salman Khan will be a part of this film in a special way. Yes, you guessed it right! Salman Khan will be seen as TIGER in ShahRukh’s ‘Pathan’. Salman will reprise his role from two of his blockbuster movies ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ & ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Bringing to your notice, the Tiger franchise is also produced by YashRaj Films.

As per our report, Salman will be joining his ‘buddy’ SRK for a crucial cameo. He’ll be shooting for 10 to 15 days for his part in Pathan. It will be a very important extended cameo in the film and if sources are to be believed, Salman can also be seen doing action with SRK & John Abraham in Pathan.

Coming to the next cracker, YRF has already equipped Salman Khan with the Third part of his Supernova franchise ‘Tiger’ and most probably they will start shooting shooting the film next year. And according to the sources, after Salman’s crucial cameo in ‘Pathan’, ShahRukh Khan will be seen reprising his role from ‘Pathan’ in Salman’s ‘Tiger Part- 3’. Kindred to Salman’s cameo in ‘Pathan’, Shahrukh will also be doing a crucial & extended action packed cameo in Salman’s high-octane action flick!

No No wait! Its not the end yet!

Remember YRF’s ‘WAR’, starring Hritik Roshan and Tiger Shroff? Yes ofcourse! Who doesn’t?

So as per the sources, if all goes well, ShahRukh Khan and Salman Khan can be seen recapitulating their characters from ‘Pathan’ and ‘Tiger’ respectively along with Hritik Roshan in ‘WAR- 2’. Both the superstars can seen doing Kick-ass action in the second part of YRF’s record breaking flick. Bringing to your notice, Yash Raj Film’s War made history as it collected Rs 53.35 crore on its opening day,  which was the biggest ever opening for a Hindi film owing to Hritik’s enthralling action scenes, looks and peppy dancing numbers.

Just imagine, witnessing Bollywood biggest stars, ShahRukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hritik Roshan sharing screen. That is YRF’s “SPY UNIVERSE” for you!

While, for the most part of a spy movie, you are aware of the reality of a spy, it’s actually the nail-biting escapes that make the film and edge-of-the-seat thriller. And interestingly, spy movies with biggest cinematic cross-overs will automatically double the thrill. While it may seem like a challenge, but budget is not really as big an issue as it’s made out to be. Visual Effects and all other technical features are also highly achievable in Bollywood and at a state where, at least in some shots, they can certainly compete with what’s there in the west.

So if YashRaj Films and Aditya Chopra will be able to do the aforementioned as being planned, it would surely be a turning point for Indian Cinema. It will be interesting to see how this (universes and franchises) plays out given the uniqueness that comes with the audience getting to see good, commercially entertaining cinema when two to three big heroes on the screen together. Fingers Crossed!
