Daljeet Kaur who is now Daljeet Shaleen Bhanot is all geared to play a different role as she embarks on her new journey. The young girl is now a new bride. She is married to the man of her dreams and is eager to play the perfect wife.

The couple got married on 9 December in Jabalpur and Daljeet is on cloud nine after becoming Mrs Bhanot. She says, "It's a dream come true and the most loveliest part of the new chapter of my new life is being Mrs Bhanot. Since the past two years we were eagerly waiting for this exciting phase of our lives".

"I always dreamt of marrying a boy like Shaleen and I am lucky God gave me what I exactly wanted. I love the uniqueness Shaleen has and he is some one who cannot be replaced in my life. He has the most beautiful heart in this world".

Daljeet who has now shifted to Lokhandwala (where Shaleen lives) is eager to perfect her cooking skills. She says, "It's not that I can't cook but I want to learn it to perfection. Shaleen is a complete foodie and I want to make a variety of dishes for him. I have already made a yummy halwa for him and he has loved it. I want to start my new life as a complete Indian woman whose first priority is to look after her husband and cook delicacies for him. I want to prove myself as a good wife, a good sister-in-law and a good daughter-in-law".

But the couple has no immediate honeymoon plans as Shaleen has a lot of commitments which need to be fulfilled. He was on long leave for his wedding and now his better half wants him to report to work. She says, "Honeymoon can wait. The producers of his shows were very sweet and not once did they pressurise Shaleen to report to work. So it is his duty to report to the sets and now that we are together we can always go for many holidays".
