Usually one likes to sit back at home, eat bhajjis with a cup of garam chai when it’s raining outside. But Veebha Anand who plays the role of Laxmi in Sanskaar Laxmi has a different story to tell. “I love the Mumbai rains. It’s like watching a live thriller as you never know what’s coming next,” says Veebha.
Yesterday the actors and crew of Sanskaar Laxmi reached the sets and found it completely flooded. While the caretakers were busy cleaning up the mess Veebha decided to have some fun. She called her make-up man Manoj and laid a bet with him. She said, “I am ready to be the pillion rider on your bike, provided you take a spin around the flooded sets without letting your feet touch the ground before we complete one full revolution.” On the other hand a spot boy who happened to overhear their conversation said, “If Veebha ji wins she will order steaming hot bhajjis and vada pavs for everyone on the sets.”
When the bet was finally sealed, Manoj fired his bike and took Veebha around the sets, almost knee deep in water, successfully without letting his feet touch the ground even once. Veebha lost the bet but was thrilled with the ride and was more than happy to treat everyone to some delectable bhajjis and vada pavs.
Veebha sure knows how to make the most out of an unpleasant situation!
