Urvashi Dholakia is yet another cricket fan who is following the IPL and is lending all her manicured support to Kolkata Knight Riders.
Currently, the popular TV vamp is seen in a promo. “The concept is that anyone can become a coach of KKR. So I am representing the actors’ fraternity. It was a message to the masses that they too can be part of this team and help them. I was shown in my ‘Komolika’ garb leading slowly to the real me. I have shot with a few team members and I tell them who better than me to sledge. It was a very funny experience as they were all enjoying my dialogues related to Komolika.”
Incidentally two days before Dholakia shot for the ad, she saw Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan . “I saw the movie and I fell in love with him all over again. It was a dream shooting with him. They are coming with a series of ads and mine was the second one. It was a good experience as I shot a commercial after 10 years.”
She admits she is not a cricket buff. “But because of my sons I watch all sports and have been following this season of IPL. I was always an avid supporter of SRK’s team and this year fortunately they are doing well in the season. So it was my sheer luck to shoot with them.”
She was last seen in Balaji’s Bayttaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai on Sony.
