If you want to experience ultimate goosebumps, switch on the teaser of Batman v/s Superman. The thunderstorm sound effects, the exhilarating drumbeats and the divine lighting will captivate you to no end. But make no mistake. Behind these flashing effects lurk deep darkness. Yes, Batsman v/s Superman: Dawn of Justice seems to be the manifestation of the darker instincts of superheroes something that is usually the forte of the villains they end up beating to a pulp.

The two minute teaser trailer shows Superman godlike worshipped by a legion of followers. In Metropolis, the city that Superman calls God, there is an enormous statue erected in honour of Superman indicating that he is now a central power figure in the scheme of things. The teaser begins with a powerful voiceover which starts with a question as to how the world's most powerful man (Superman and not the US President) becomes a subject of controversy. Little ahead, the voice booms that people follow those who have absolute power...and absolute power corrupts absolutely. You then see snapshots of Superman king-like showing off his superhuman skills and surprisingly also commanding a band of faithful worshippers or slaves as one could call.

Ben Affleck aka Batman makes a an appearance his handsome albeit brooding face fitting the part to the T. The suited Batman looks more refines, his armour more defined and muscles more stronger than ever. Interestingly, he is seen sporting a sophisticated rifle while standing atop a tower which evokes curiosity for Batman is not really known for using guns any longer. It remains to be seen if he puts it to use in this movie.

The ultimate faceoff between Superman and Batman heralds great interest. Superman's statute is smeared with the words 'False God'. Has he turned? Batman challenges him to a duel with the words, "Tell me...Do you bleed. You will.."

While VFX and other assorted effects look all set to thrill us in Imax 3D, it is the darker than hell story that will hold the key.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v/s Superman: Dawn of Justice features Ben Affleck as Batman Henry Cavill Superman Amy Adams as Lois Lane. The other star cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. The movie will release in 2016.
