2014 saw a plethora of newcomers making their debut but not many succeeded in hitting the bull's eye. We track down those debutants who are made a mark in the year just gone by.

Tiger Shroff - Jackie Shroff's lad made quite an impression with Sajid Nadiadwala's youthful love story Heropanti last year. Three things about Tiger immediately stood out, his jaw dropping body, gravity defying martial arts stunts and nimble footed dance moves. Acting seemed to be a bit of a suspect area for the youngster but with age and a famous surname on his side, we are sure he will go the distance.

Fawad Khan - After Imran Khan, no man from across the border has held collective sway over our attention until Fawad Khan happened to India. His chiselled Greek God looks, piercing eyes, rich baritone, neatly side parted jet black hair and expertly trimmed four day stubble made our nation's fairer sex go extremely weak in their knees. Khan became a phenomenon in India after his uber popular serial, Zindagi Gulzar Hai was screened here. Soon 'I love you Fawad Khan' fan clubs sprouted on Facebook and Twittersphere witnessed a barrage of Fawad Khan hashtags trending regularly. The actor made his Bollywood debut opposite Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat. The movie tanked but women folks went gaga over Fawad and his looks yet again. It also helped that he could act well.

Kriti Sanon - Kriti was the lone female actress who impressed one and all last year. Tall, fair and good-looking, Kriti exemplifies the typical Delhi beauty. Though Heropanti was all about Tiger, Kriti too managed to carve a niche for herself. The lady will now be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Singh is Bling.

Manasvi Mamgai - She is bold and she knows it. Action Jackson may not have clicked but this lady has the boldness and openness to go the distance. The question is will she make it big. Let's wait and watch.

Daisy Shah - If you have made your debut with Salman Khan, things ease out for you in Bollywood. Jai Ho didn't exactly do wonders for Daisy but we are prepared to give her the long rope just because she is Salman's girl.
