Jennifer Winget and Lahiri to host Laughter ke fatke

Tellychakkar had earlier reported that Star One is gearing up for a complete revamp of which we have been giving regular updates. Well, the latest bit we hear is that the channel is launching a comedy show tentatively titled Laughter ke fatke. The concept of the show is not yet clear but it is said the show will take a humorous look at news and current affairs. Produced by Vipul D Shah’s Optimystix the shooting of the same has begun today. A source informs, “Laughter ke fatke will soon be the talk of the town. Some of the participants on this show are Abhijit Sawant, Barkha Bisht, Ali Asgar, Rakhi Vijan.” The source adds, “The show will have a new celebrity judge every week and they will be assigning funny tasks to the contestants of the show. Jennifer Winget and stand-up comedian Sudesh Lahiri will host the show.” Bisht said, “Yes, I am doing Laughter ke fatke. It’s basically Sudesh’s show and the actors will be performing a five-six minute skit for him.” Repeated attempts to reach Jennifer were futile. We tried calling Shah, but he remained unavailable for his comments. Laughter ke fatke will air later this month.
