Mataji to spring back into action into Sasural Simar Ka

Mataji (Jayati Bhatia), who had been one of the most powerful characters in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka, seems to have gone into a shell of late. However, this phase will not continue for too long as she is ready to spring back into action. According to a reliable source, the story will soon take an interesting twist. As seen so far, Khushi (Jyotsna Chandola) has been dominating the Bharadwaj house but not for very long. The actual leader of the house, Mataji will yet again start using her tactics. Hence, in the upcoming episodes, she will inform an NGO about Khushi ill-treating her own baby. Therefore, the NGO will come to keep a watch on her. This will make things difficult for Khushi. In fact, Jayati Bhatia believes that this is just the beginning. There is a lot more to come from Mataji who has an experience of being in the Bharadwaj house for umpteen years. “My character is smart and she will get back with all her might. For a while, she had been on an emotional journey but the kind of person she is, Mataji will make it a point to teach Khushi a lesson,” says the artiste. So, was this talented lady tired of playing low? “No, I wasn’t. In fact, I got to explore a different side to this character which was enriching for me as an artiste. Initially, there was a point when Mataji looked invincible but then things had to change. Now she will be back in her dabaang avatar,” she maintains.
