Heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor underwent a minor surgery at for getting rid of adenoid tonsil that had been troubling the actor for quite a while now. The actor checked into the plush Breach Candy hospital on Monday after bringing in his birthday the previous night with rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif and a few close pals including Ayan Mukherjee. The celebrations couldn't go on for too long since Ranbir was slated to go under the knife the next day. Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir's father confirmed the surgery and was quoted saying that the surgery was a routine one and nothing major at all. Reportedly, because of the rogue tonsil Ranbir had trouble sleeping with his mouth closed. With the surgery going off successfully, the recuperating actor is expected to be discharged today. Interestingly, Katrina was spotted visiting the hospital to be by the bedside of Ranbir. No better medicine than love we say..oops rumoured love, we mean.
