Ashutosh Gowariker’s ambitious project Everest on Star Plus that launched last week has managed to work well with the audience by bringing a fresh story and some interesting twists and turns. As seen so far, Anjali (Shamata Anchan) has left her home to get herself admitted in the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. Her only desire is to reach the peak of Everest and fulfill her dad’s dreams of mountain conquer. After lot of complications, the girl would reach the institute where she will be told that admissions have been closed. Not someone to take defeat so easily, the girl would decide on talking to Colonel Abhiyankar (Milind Gunaji). Shares a source, “Anjali would go ahead and stealthily enter his room and talk to him on getting her on board for the coming mountaineering expedition.” Colonel would get really angry and tell her strictly that such midway entries are not allowed and that she would have to leave the institute as admissions are closed. Anjali would then decide to use another way and climb up to the colonel’s office and convince him on taking her in the outing. It will so happen that the colonel although bound by laws will be impressed by her skills of mounting up on a building. Will Anjali get admission in the mountaineering institution? Or will her dreams get shattered? We tried calling Shamata but she remained unavailable.
