Giriraj Kabra who did a cameo in Star Plus’ Kasauti Zindagi Kii is currently playing the lead Bittu in Sahara One’s prime time show Hi! Padosi...Kaun Hai Doshi opposite Sanjeeda Sheikh. The show is produced by Maximum Entertainment. Giriraj also made a foray into films by playing a small role in Johny Lever starrer Kirkit. However, during a recent shoot for a marriage sequence for Hi! Padosi… Giriraj had to wear a sherwani. And the interesting fact is that during the shoot he wore the same sherwani that he wore for his wedding. Now we started wondering why the actor wore his shaadi ka sherwani? Is he too fond of the apparel or the production house ran short of funds? So we decided to talk to Giriraj to clear the air. “I am very attached to my wedding sherwani. The channel as well as the production house gave me two beautiful sherwanis but I insisted on wearing the one that I wore on my wedding. Ankur Joshi who is the producer of the show and also a great friend agreed to it,” said Giriraj. Well, it is a happy-happy ending. Giriraj got to relive his shaadi moments and the production house saved some moolah. Now this is what you call killing two birds with one stone.
