From TAM to BARC, the television rating system in India has seen a change.

Now, yesterday, BARC (Broadcasting Audience Research Council) issued its first ratings, amidst much curiosity and anxiety amongst the broadcasting fraternity.

Talking about numbers, Star Plus continues to rock with 495 GRPs followed by Colors with 441 GRPs and Life OK with 366 GRPs.

Coming to the shows, Saathiya manages to stand tall with 6.8 TRPs. There is a surprise in the list with CID making its place in the #2 position with 6.4 TRPs. The third slot is held by Yeh Hai Mohabbatein with 5.8 TRPs.
