The recent actor who has decided to alter his name is the hottie Karan Mehra of Pavitra Rishta fame.
The actor has added Veer as his middle name and rechristened himself as Karan Veer Mehra.
When asked about the reason about this change, he shared, “Veer is my late grandfather’s name. My grandmother requested me to add Veer in my name. And with too many Karans in the industry, Karan Veer will be a bit different.”
He added, “I have changed my name on the social media first and now I am getting all my id proofs modified. These days I take a long pause before introducing myself, as it will take a while for me to get used to my new name.”
