Ankit Raj, the popular name from the fashion world is pretty excited about his entry in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films).

The talented young lad from Jabalpur will have his ‘filmy’ introductory scene in tonight’s episode, wherein he will come out of a pool, shirtless!!

Wow, a nice start isn’t it?

So here is Ankit talking about his character on the show.

Says Ankit, “My character’s name is Amaad, and he happens to be the younger brother of Azaad (Rajbeer Singh). Amaad is a hot and happening guy, full of attitude. Though Amaad and Azaad do not share a good rapport as brothers, they will never let it out to the outer world, and will be there for each other.”

Ankit is equally excited to share screen space with Rajbeer Singh, who he knows for a long time now. “Yes, Rajbeer and I are friends, and we know each other. We have been going to the same gym for a long time now. It is nice to be working with him.”

Ankit who has walked the ramp for all top designers such as Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Troy Costa, Karan Johar feels that he is lucky to have got a role that suits his personality. “Amaad is a guy who dresses up really well. You will see him in more of the denims and floral attires, and this is what impresses me the most. Being a fashionista myself, I have been giving my small inputs with regards to the styling given to Amaad.”

Ask him how he managed to grab this role, and he explains, “After being for many years in the fashion world, I really wanted to try my hand at acting. That is when my manager, Rupesh Sonar worked things out for me. I am glad to be working with 4 Lions Films; they are a very professional bunch.”

For the uninitiated, Rajbeer Singh, Surbhi Jyoti and Ankit Raj will have a love triangle to play within the show.
