Zee TV’s show, Satrangi Sasural (24 Frames) will soon introduce a new family, that of the female lead Vrushika Mehta’s.

Actors Yajuvendra Singh and Vishwapreet Kaur, who played an on-screen couple in Star Plus’ popular show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera will soon join the cast of Satrangi Sasural.

As per reliable sources, “This time, Yajuvendra and Vishwapreet will not play a couple. Instead, Yajuvendra will be the negative uncle of the female lead, Kyra (Vrushika). Kyra who would not have a mother, would be brought up by a governess cum care taker lady, and this character will be essayed by Vishwapreet. Also, joining the cast will be veteran actor Sushil Parashar as Kyra’s grandfather (nanaji).”

Yajuvendra will always be in a threatening mode with his father, and will want him to transfer all wealth and property on his name and not on his granddaughter Kyra’s name. The caretaker lady will have mixed shades. Though she will have her own ulterior motives, she will pretend to be sweet and affectionate to Kyra and the nanaji. The grandfather will be a very positive man, who will love his granddaughter a lot.

When contacted, Vishwapreet told us, “I will want to talk more about my role after shooting for few days. I have had a bitter experience the last time around, where I found myself in a wrong place after shooting for seven days. Hence I will take my time before talking about it.”

Yajuvendra confirmed the news stating, “Yes, after playing the pleasing role of Balwant in Veera, I am again turning negative with Satrangi Sasural.”
