#EidMubarak: TV actors and their favourite delicacies

#EidMubarak: TV actors and their favourite delicacies

Today is the holy festival of Bakri Eid, celebrated by Muslims around the globe.

On this day, they sacrifice an animal, usually a goat, to Allah. Later the faithful hold special prayers and exchange greetings.

And ay festival is imperfect without delicacies. Agree?

Tellychakkar.com takes a sneak peek at what are the favourite dishes of our TV celebs.

Sana Saeed: This year I have planned to celebrate Eid with my family. My mom has cooked biryani and sheer korma so I will binge on them.

Iqbal Khan: I enjoyed sheer korma cooked by my wife in the morning. We all then went for a lunch to a newly opened restaurant. As its Eid, I will gift something special to my daughter.

Gauahar Khan: This year it’s a very low key Eid as my nephew is down with dengue. But yes, we have made biryani and sheer korma to celebrate the festival. I am really missing my sister Nigaar (Khan) today who has shifted to Dubai post marriage.

Ayaz Ahmed: Early morning we sacrificed a goat and I broke my fast eating kaleji. It’s a very special day, as I have come to my hometown Kolkata, after seven years. Other dishes, that I am going to relish, are chicken chaap, parathas, sheer korma and biryani.

Sanjeeda Shaikh: I eat non veg every day, so today I have decided to eat vegetarian food. I am taking my mom along for lunch. As Aamir will be free by evening we will visit our friends homes to wish them Eid.

Fahad Ali: My friends and family are coming over today at home for dinner so my mom has cooked mutton biryani, kheer and chaats.

We wish all our readers Eid Mubarak!
