I feel awful fighting with Sriti onscreen: Leena Jumani

Leena Jumani

Actress Leena Jumani, better known as the vicious Tanu from Kumkum Bhagya, doesn’t enjoy fighting with her off-screen good friend and lead of the show Sriti Jha.

She shared, “Although we fight onscreen, Sriti and I are very good friends off-screen. I feel awful doing such scenes with her.”

So, do viewers hate or love as Tanu? “Well, whenever I meet my fans, they tell me that they love me as Tanu… but they also request me to stop harassing Pragya on the show,” she added.

As we all know the role of Tanu was earlier played by Madhurima Tuli, we asked Leena if she would have liked playing this role from the beginning…

“Whatever happens, happens for the best. When the show started, I was busy shooting for my film. Destiny plays very important role in everyone’s life,” she replied.

As Kumkum Bhagya has a huge cast, do you ever feel neglected? Leena said,  “Never, I think Tanu has been given equal importance.”

With so many vamps on TV, what is unique about Tanu? “The uniqueness about my role is that she is not a bitchy girl or a game planner. She always needs someone to take decisions. She is dumb, but also cute at the same time,” replied the pretty lady.

Has the replacement helped you in your career? “Yes, it has. Kumkum Bhagya is a very good show and the best thing that has happened in my life.”

Good luck, Leena!
