Star Plus’ long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut Productions) is presently seeing the tough phase of Akshara (Hina Khan) getting blind. While all in her family will be at her care and forget about their individual health and lifestyle, there will come a time when Akshara will have to go through a tough realization process!!

Yes, in the coming episodes, Akshara will have to fight a battle within herself whether or not to use a walking stick inside the house.

All the drama will begin when Karishma (Priyanka Udhwani) will propose that Akshara will need to use a walking stick for her own safety as well as for others’ safety in the house. However, Naitik (Karan Mehra) will immediately disapprove the idea saying we are all there to help Akshara.

But soon a certain incident will again raise a question over Akshara needing a support system for herself.

A credible source tells us, “Akshara will get involved in a major accident when she will dash into little Mishti (Aarna Sharma) while walking, which will end in both Akshara and Mishti falling off the stairs. Mishti will end up getting stitches in the hospital, post which Naman (Anshul Pandey) and Karishma will make a hue and cry of Akshara’s present health condition.”

Post this incident, Akshara will fight with her own mind and heart and arrive at a conclusion that being blind, she will now need to use a walking stick to avoid certain mishaps…
