Actress Divya Bhatnagar is in a happy space, now that she is back to Star Plus after a gap of nearly five years!! Well, the lady who came to the limelight as Gulabo in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has made a mark for herself, and is now back with the new show, Silsila Pyaar Ka. 

Well, Divya is also happy because she’s finally made it to her ‘dream’ production house, that is Rashmi Sharma Productions.

Talking about it, Divya says, “Rashmi Sharma Productions gives successful shows, and there is nothing bigger for an actor to bag a role with them. I have always aspired to work with them, and I am glad that my dream has come true.”

Divya who essays the role of Kamini, the closest friend of Shilpa Shirodkar on the show shares an equally passionate and friendly off screen rapport with Shilpa. “Shilpaji is a sweet-heart. I have 99% of my scenes with her. And we have a great tuning, touchwood from day one. She is so very senior to me, but she does not make it look that way. She’s so down-to-earth, always ready to converse and make people around her comfortable.”

Divya for the first time, has donned a very mature character. “I am enjoying playing the role of Kamini. The lady is full of spice, quite dramatic is what I can say. Her only aim in life is to get her daughter Munmun married to Raunak, Janki’s son. She comes across as a comic character, yet is very diplomatic in approach.”

“My character is so colorful that it took away the sorrow of playing a character who is a mother to an 18 years old. I would say this is my best role so far. This also marks my comeback to Star Plus after five years. And I am back from where it all began,” avers the bubbly actress.
