Ashmit Patel and Maheck Chahal, who declared their love for each other by participating on Sony Entertainment Television’s Power Couple, were evicted last week.

Talking about the experience in the show, Ashmit shared, “It was a fabulous and a different experience. Power Couple is about love and positivity. I think it is a golden opportunity for new lovebirds as you get to spend more time with your partner. Also, you get to know each other better. Sony TV is giving a golden platform to all the couples.”

You were one of the strongest couples in the show, so what led your eviction? He quipped, “Firstly, thank you for considering us one of the strongest! Despite both of us being physically strong, we lost out as I was suffering from typhoid and was not able to perform. Maheck was the strongest point for me. Our communication was the best.”

When asked about his future project and shows, he said, “I would love to do more couple-based shows with Maheck as I would get to spend more time with her.”

Lastly, who deserves to win the show? Ashmit answered, “Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali. They are very strong.”
