Noted television and Bollywood actor Vicky Ahuja, who has been part of popular movies like A Wednesday, Veer-Zaara and Gangster has been roped in for Star Plus’ upcoming show Durga.

Tellychakkar.com had exclusively updated about director Ravindra Gautam producing a show under the banner Paperbags Films Pvt. Ltd.

The series will be based on a girl named Durga who will aspire to become an athlete. We have reported about Ananya Agarwal playing the young Durga. Taarak Mehta’s fame Nidhi Nautiyal has been approached to play the lead protagonist.

Now, we have learnt that Vicky has been signed to play Durga’s father. His character will be positive who will help Durga chase her dreams.
