Funny man Pritam Singh started his career as an RJ. But he hogged the limelight only after entering the controversial reality show Bigg Boss.

Currently, he is seen hosting Box Cricket League on Colors. Pritam not only cheers the players on, but also entertains the masses with his witty comments.

How different and challenging is it to host BCL? 

In any reality or game show, the host plays an important role. In BCL, hosts are the mediators between viewers and players. Apart from cricket, we have to keep viewers entertained as well. The challenging part is to get masala from the actors. People want to know every minute detail about the team and their off-screen bonding as well.

Are you enjoying hosting the show? 

I am thoroughly enjoying it. I thank Ekta Kapoor for giving me this opportunity and trusting a newcomer like me. The credit goes to her for making such an amazing show with a different concept.

Since you keeping pulling the contestants’ legs, has anyone ever been offended by it?

Not really. In fact, they pull my leg as well.  Actors do know that nothing is personal, so nobody takes it to heart.

How’s Sumit Vyas as a co-host? 

Sumit is super talented. He is a natural and we bond really well.

Has any actor got personal and abused you? 

Not at all. They know that I am the ‘narad muni’ of BCL. Being the host, I can’t support any particular team… hence, I support and cheer up all the teams.

Is BCL scripted? 

Nothing is scripted in BCL. We don’t have to work hard on scripts as reactions and comments mostly start coming from actors themselves.

Which team, according to you, will win BCL? 

Well, that’s a tough one but I think Delhi Dragons and Chennai Swaggers are playing well. I see both the teams going far in the match.

Karan Wahi bats well and Suyyash is a great bowler.

Who is the hottest female cricketer of BCL? 

I find Barkha Bist hot. 

What kind of shows do you wish to work on?

I am up for everything. I am fine with daily soaps also, but my character should be good and visible.
