Actress Ritu Vij has bagged her next show with Balaji Telefilms after her stint with them in their Star Plus show, Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan.

Well, news is that Ritu has joined the cast of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming thriller show for Colors, Kavach.

As per sources, “Ritu will be playing the loving and caring mother to the male lead, essayed by Vivek Dahiya.”

When contacted, Ritu confirmed the news but did not talk further.

As we know, Kavach will have Mona Singh and Vivek Dahiya in lead roles, with Maheck Chahal playing the negative force. Also, actors Ashwini Kalsekar, Rajita Kochar and Shiva Rindani will play pivotal roles.

Kavach will replace Naagin on Colors very soon.
