Back with a bang: Ashish Chowdhry in Edit II's next?

Ashish Chowdhry

Have you all have been missing the handsome hunk Ashish Chowdhry on your television screen?

Good news then as your wait will finally get over.

Yes, we have been informed that post Khatron Ke Khiladi, Ashish is all set to be back on the small screen with Edit II’s upcoming comedy series.

An industry source shares, “Edit II is all set to churn out two new series and the makers want Ashish to be part of one of their projects. They have narrated both scripts to Ashish and has been given the liberty to select one. The production house is in talks with different channels and will soon announce the projects officially."

Another source reveals that though things are yet to be finalized, the makers and Ashish are quite willing to join hands.

Armed with the info, when we buzzed Ashish, the charming man said, “I have always wanted to work with Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli, after all, they are the masters of comedy. And I would love to try new things on television. Though I am keen on doing some projects with them, we are yet to finalize things.”

We hope the deal gets through Ashish. For someone who made us go ROFL with his act in Dhamaal, watching him everyday on TV would definitely be a treat.

We have dropped a message to producer Binaifer, but have not received any revert till the time of filing the article.

Ashish's last fiction outing was Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan.
