It’s time to welcome a new face on Zee TV’s popular drama Jamai Raja (Grazing Goat and Sagar Pictures).

With Nia Sharma moving out, Shiny Doshi has been roped in to romance Jamai Raja hero Ravi Dubey, post the generation leap.

The new storyline will depict the love story between a tapori guy Satya (Ravi) and a rich girl Mahi (Shiny).

In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com, Shiny answered five questions about her recent telly outing…read on:

Brief us about your character. I am playing the character of Mahi, a simple, innocent and chirpy girl. Her meeting with Satya and their love story marks the crux of the show.

It’s a well-established show, so do you feel pressurized to perform? It’s a mixed feeling. I am excited as well as nervous. I will try my best to impress viewers.

Were you a regular viewer of Jamai Raja? I haven’t followed the show regularly, but I have managed to watch few episodes. Jamai Raja is a great show, with a superb concept. I am proud to be a part of it.

Are you ready to be compared with Nia Sharma? Nia has done a brilliant job as Roshni…but our characters are different. So I don’t think there should be any comparison.

How is Ravi as a co-star? Ravi is a great performer and a brilliant actor. When you work with talented actors, you feel good about it.
