All the loyal viewers of Zee Bangla gear up for a grand performance on Mahalaya!

Readers, this year the channel brings forth Mahalaya, celebrating the Mother in the Adishakti.  

The show titled Matrirupeno will be narrated via a story.  

The story will go like this that Raja Surat, after losing a battle, will be chased down and thrown out of his kingdom by his enemies. A defeated and broken King then will keep down his crown and leave his kingdom along with his wife.

He will visit sage Medwosh’s ashram. The sage will empower him with hope, faith and belief by narrating the glorious tales of Goddess Durga and her different avatars. He will tell him that how the Goddess, using her immense power, demolished the demon Mahishasur and brought back peace to the world again.

Upon hearing the glorious stories, Raja Surat will be overwhelmed and overpowered. And, he will become the first person on earth to conduct and offer puja to Mahishasur Mardini.

Now coming to the performances, in the show, the different avatars of the Goddess will be played by the lead actresses of the channel’s different soaps.

The different avatars of Adishakti include Sakambari/ Satakshi (played by Sweta Bhattacharya of Jorowar Jhumko), Durga (played by Sweta), Parbati (played by Nabanita Das of Deep Jwele Jai), Kaushiki (played by Prapti Chatterjee of Ei Cheleta Bhelbheleta), Kali (played by Nabanita), Chamunda (played by Prapti), Chinnomasta (played by Roopsha of Esho Ma Lokkhi), Annapurna (played by Kinni of Phoolmoni) and Mahishasur Mardini.

Well, it’s the gorgeous lady Indrani Halder of Goyenda Ginni.

So, get ready to witness the amazing tales of the Goddess and amazing performances of the actors. It will be aired on 30 September, 5 am.
