Yucky is the word!!!

Imagine a scenario where you are thirsty, parched to the core and buy a carton of juice to relish and rejuvenate.

Excited and ecstatic, to gulp down the pulpy nectar, you open the carton only to get horrified seeing fungus all over.

Disgusting!

Television actress Shikha Singh (Kumkum Bhagya fame) experienced a similar repulsive incident when she found sticky slimy detestable matter in her Tropicana apple juice carton.

“I bought the packet last night from a retail outlet and when I poured the juice in a glass, I saw black substances and a slippery object floating. Curious and horrified, I cut open the carton to see dark slimy fungus. I felt pukish. Strange thing is that the manufacturing date’s only a month ago. It’s a horrifying experience and I will never buy such products again,”: said Shikha.

“Furthermore, I called up the customer care number (mentioned on the packet) but got no response at all. Hence, I shared my agony on Twitter,” she added.

Once Shikha took to social media and shared the ‘slimy’ pictures, PepsiCo (mother brand of Tropicana) responded saying they would look into the matter.
