Are you gearing up for a splendid weekend? Well, we too are looking forward to one. But not before we update our readers about the next exclusive piece of news coming from the much-anticipated big-budget Sony TV show, Bajirao Mastani. 

Well, the historical coming from the able association of Sphere Origins and Invictus T Mediaworks has already roped in big names Manish Wadhwa, Anuja Sathe, Sanjay Batra as prime cast. 

Now we hear of seasoned campaigner Mrinal Kulkarni joining the elite cast. 

News coming in is that she will play the character of Tarabai, the elegant warrior queen of the Marathas. 

As we know, Mrinal who started her acting career at the tender age of 16 has gone on to  essay lot many renowned historical characters like Draupadi, Ahilya Bai, Ramabai, Jijabai in her illustrious career. On TV, she has done noteworthy shows Shrikant, Rishtey, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Son Pari, Sparsh, Kaali – Ek Agnipareeksha, Hasratein and many more... 

When contacted, Mrinal asked us to call her later. 

We buzzed Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa for a comment on this piece of information, but we received no revert. 

Our efforts to get a confirmation from the channel proved futile..
