Talented actor Parmeet Sethi will once again don the ‘Director’s Hat’!! The last time, he was instrumental in setting up the desi version of Everybody Loves Raymond, and gave our TV viewing audience the show, Sumit Sambhal Lega.

Now Parmeet is busy working as director on the Indian adaptation of the American popular sitcom, The Last Man Standing for Star Plus. As we know, the show will be produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions.

Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively reporting about actors Vinay Pathak, Ekta Pabari, Zaan Khan, Rakesh Bedi and Ashnoor Kaur being roped in for the project. As reported by media, Smita Bansal and Barkha Singh are also part of the cast.

We now hear of Parmeet donning the director’s hat for the show!!

As per sources, “Parmeet has been brought on board by the channel to helm the show as Director. He  will direct the pilot, and if all goes well, he will go on to be the director of the project.”

When contacted, Parmeet asked us to call him later.

We tried buzzing Producer Sumeet Mittal, but did not receive revert till we filed the story.

Known for his astounding performances in movies like Diwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Diljale, Dil Dhadakne Do was his last project as an actor. He also made his Bollywood directorial debut with YRF's Badmaash Company.
