I was offered five shows after Brahmarakshas, I chose Bakula Bua: Apara Mehta

Apara Mehta speaks at length about her new show Bakula Bua Ki Bhoot

&TV’s new show Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot (Hats off Productions) is grabbing eyeballs with its unique concept and stellar cast.

While veteran actress Sarita Joshi plays the titular role in the show, popular and talented actress Apara Mehta is playing a pivotal role in the series.

She is seen in a very fun loving character that will bring smiles on the faces of the audience. Talking about her role in a heart of hearts repartee with Tellychakkar.com, she revealed, “I am a fun loving person in real life too. I can act serious as an actor but I don’t like to be serious in real life. Doing comedy is the easiest thing for me to do but I feel that comedy is the most difficult genre. I can easily cry on stage as an actor and make others cry too but to make someone laugh is very difficult. I am a very happy go lucky and modern in real life.”

Having played different shades of roles in many of the remarkable shows on TV, she feels lucky to be offered good roles. Quipped she, “Nobody offers me bad roles; I am always offered fabulous characters. I was offered five shows after Brahmarakshas went off-air but I choose to be a part of this one among all.”

“When you have a good writer like Aatish, (Kapadia) who gives so many new colours and nuances to the character, you also open your mind and start thinking towards it as an actor. It is fun working with everyone here and when I was getting an opportunity to work with Sarita (Joshi) ji then I had to grab it,” she added.

Tellychakkar wishes this bundle of talent all the very best.
