Dolon Roy, who is playing the male lead’s mother on Zee Bangla’s ‘Baksho Bodol’ (Blues Production), says that she liked her look on the show and she found it quite interesting.

She said, “I am playing the character of a lady who is very simple. And I found my look quite interesting. My look is all about laal paar saree (white saree with red border) and shindur. I have never been in such a look before on any show. The look is like that of all the sweet mothers. I get inspired by it.”

The actress, who was earlier seen in dailies like Thik Jeno Love Story, Bhalobasha.com and Naagleela, believes that she will be able to do justice to her role.

She said, “I believe that I will manage to portray my character the way Snehasish da (Chakraborty, producer) has thought me to. From the briefing what I have understood is that it’s a sweet character because after working with him in several serials I have observed that Snehasish da can never cast me in a negative role as he thinks my face does not suit such roles.”

“Baksho Bodol’ is a beautiful story and I believe that there will be many scenes which will entertain the audience a lot,” she added with a smile.
