MUMBAI: Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut Productions) is all set for its most-awaited twist.

The show is giving audiences a high dose of emotions, as Naira (Shivangi Joshi) has been detected with a tumour. Naira wanted Kartik (Mohsin Khan) to move on, but Kartik has decided not to leave Naira alone in her difficult time.

Naira had put across her wish to marry Kartik before her surgery, but her health is deteriorating. Hence, Kartik has convinced the hospital authorities to let them get married at the hospital.

For the first time in the history of Yeh Rishta, a wedding will be simple and subtle. Naira will wear a light pink pastel coloured lehenga and Kartik will wear a simple sherwani. The duo will be colour coordinated and look ethereal.

If sources are to be believed, viewers can expect a dance performance on the popular Hum Saath Saath Hain song Chhote chhote bhaiyyo ke bade bhaiyya.
