KOLKATA: Jasmine Roy, who was last seen in a lead role in the soap Mayar Badhan, has found an interesting way to utilize her free time. The actress says that she makes a lot of TikTok videos.
She shared with TellyChakkar, ‘After Mayar Badhan ended, I immersed myself in various activities like watching movies, travels, and making TikTok videos.’
‘I don’t know about others, but I am treating making TikTok videos as a workshop. I feel that for us (actors), making TikTok videos are not just a fun thing. In TikTok (app), you will get a variety of clippings including dialogues, comedy scenes, and romantic scenes. If utilized properly, this can help us a lot in our work,’ added the actress, who is yet to sign her new project.
Jasmine, who also acted in Meera and Bhakter Bhagaban Shri Krishna, has made a lot of videos, but the one that she thinks is the most noteworthy is one that she dedicated to women.
She said, ‘Before Durga Puja, I had made a concept video with the caption ‘choice is yours’. This was only for girls. There are many women who, even in the 21st century, prefer not to protest against the abuse that they face every day. This message is for them to make a decision whether they would succumb to the injustice or take a stand against the abuse.’
