MUMBAI: As we get closer to the grand finale of singing reality show Indian Idol, the makers recently shot for the finale episode. While the set was in a celebration mode, we hear that the makers gave a special dedication to the one personality that has held the show together by his witty charm. A special video was played for Maniesh throwing a light on his journey and for the first time, the usually humorous Maniesh broke down.
p>Informs a source, "The video showed his journey so far right from his struggling days from Delhi to Mumbai. Two of his teachers spoke about how he was a backbencher in the class, but always ahead in entertainment. His friend from Delhi recalled the times they used to spend the time at a sweet shop and Maniesh used to perform different acts. His wife, Sanyukta, who was his girlfriend then, shared that whenever he used to call him, he'd tell her that he is eating lunch at Yash Raj Studios, when, in fact, he would be sitting outside for hours and having sandwiches."His wife further revealed that Maniesh would walk from Chembur to Airport during his struggling days in order to save money and he later used that money to buy a ring for her.
Maniesh got emotional again when Sanyukta shared how important that ring is to her. He later called each and everyone from the team to join him on the stage and thanked them.
