Actor Aniruddh Dave is on cloud nine. The talented actor from Jaipur who has a strong base of theatre has always received appreciation from the audience. This time also it is the same. Aniruddh is overwhelmed with the response of his portrayal of Hanuman Singh in Patiala Babes. 

When asked he says, ”The power of social networking sites is huge nowadays and an actor can get all kind of response for his role from the audience on these forums. It has been sometime since I got such warm response from all over the world. People across the globe from South Africa, UK, Canada, Australia, Indonesia and UAE are messaging me every day and praising my work. The other day, a fan actually compared my performance with Shah Rukh Khan in Fauji. I was pleasantly shocked! I am on cloud nine. I am not so prompt on social networking sites but am getting there slowly and trying to respond to everyone.” Dave also adds,”To me the first primary thing I do to my character is to know the psyche of the role and then comes the language, dialect and body language. I have been a police officer on screen in Aaj Ki Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai. This is my second time in Patiala Babes and am enjoying every bit of my role. I am a greedy actor and always wait for the opportunity to try and leave a mark in the audience’s heart. I never consider myself a star. I am a Kalakaar and want to live in the memory of the audience with my craft.”
