MUMBAI: Ankita Lokhande became a household name after she essayed the role of Archana in the serial Pavitra Rishta. The actress made her Bollywood debut with the recently released film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, starring Kangana Ranaut in the title role. Post the film’s release, Ankita has been basking fantastic reviews for her role of Jhalkari Bai in it.      

Well, it’s a dream debut for anyone, and Ankita always wanted to be on the big screen. With this film, finally she has fulfilled her dream.

The actress penned down a heartfelt post on her dream coming true, and in that same post, she mentioned the name of Ekta Kapoor.          

Ekta was the one who recognised Ankita’s talent first and gave her the role of Archana in Pavitra Rishta which gave her the identity across the country.

Ankita thanked all her fans, mentors who have been through her journey.

I saw myself on the big screen for the first time. Yes, my dream has finally come true. Hardwork has paid off.
