He is hot and he is getting hotter every year. He has been the most eligible bachelor in Bollywood, and he has had the most desirable women as his girlfriend. Salman Khan, controversy’s favorite child is blessed with a golden heart. He celebrates his 46th birthday today (27 December 2011); and TV stars, like the common man, are smitten by the Sallu bug too. Ragini Khanna, Suhana from Sasural Genda Phool, just loves his honesty, “He has a clean heart. Unlike many people, he doesn’t plot or scheme things against others.” Giaa Maanek, who plays Gopi in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, can’t stop raving about Sallu. “I just love his eyes and smile.” In fact, Salman is her childhood crush. “On weekends, I used to watch Maine Pyaar Kiya all day long,” she adds. The actress recently had the honour of meeting the Bollywood star and she is yet to come to terms with this meeting. “It was an amazing experience, ” she gushes. On the other hand Harshad Chopda, who is seen in Imagine’s Dharampatni, doesn’t know what he will do when he would meet his idol. “If I plan things in advance chances are I will screw it up; so it’s better I don’t decide anything and instead wait patiently for the fateful day,” he smiles. But Aamir Ali is one of the few lucky people who wished the heartthrob on his birthday. When asked what the interaction was like exactly, he chooses to stay mum. “As an actor, Salman is very spontaneous and sadly is underrated,” is what he says. And Jai Bhanushali and his fiancée Mahii Vij are luckier than Aamir. Why? Well, the two were invited by the superstar to attend his birthday bash. But since they had prior commitments, they won’t be able to make it to the event. “I think Salman Khan movies are bound to work, even if they have nothing good in them. Salman Khan can sell any movie. I just love all his movies,” smiles Jay. Mahii however, feels that Salman was the best in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, “he was just awesome and I completely loved him as Sameer.” Actress Ratan Rajput says, "I just wish my beta lives a happy life." She calls Salman her child as the Bollywood actor called her Maa, when the two met on Sony Entertainment's Dus Ka Dum.
