MUMBAI: A big development has taken place in Balaji Telefilms’ two shows Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 and in the upcoming second season of Colors’ supernatural show Kavach.
TellyChakkar broke the news about the TV actor Namik Paul roped in to play the lead in Star Plus’ Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2.
However, according to the latest development, it is been reported that Namik, who had initially signed the contract with the makers for Kasautii Zindagi Kay2 , will now play the lead in Kavach 2.
As reported by us earlier, Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Deepika Singh has been signed to play female protagonist in Kavach 2 (Read here: Deepika Singh in Ekta Kapoor's Kavach 2). Namik will be seen romancing Deepika in the show.
TellyChakkar has learned that producer Ekta Kapoor was contemplating to rope in Qubool Hai fame Varun Toorkey as the lead in Kavach 2. But apparently, she has decided to swap the actors since Namik has come on board for Kavach 2 there are chances of Varun joining the cast of Kasautii. At this point in time, the talks are at a nascent stage
We tried reaching out Namik and Varun but they both remained unavailable for comment.
