Mandar Chandwadkar just can’t stop speaking well of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Incidentally, Mandar recently teamed up with the film star for a popular Bollywood Award function to put up a comic act. “Shahid is a thorough professional. He knows his job really well and puts great energy into it,” reveals Mandar. Both of them, played cops in this gig. In fact, Mandar also tells Tellychakkar.com that Shahid asked his help to get the Marathi accent right. “He doesn’t have the airs of being the star he is and had great energy,” Mandar goes on to say of the heartthrob. “Shahid is very open to change and we did a lot of improvisations. I really enjoyed the performance,” he adds. The act was a satirical take on the movies of 2011 and had the audiences rolling with laughter. And it becomes immensely difficult for Mandar to point out his favorite punch line from his presentation: “The whole act was hilarious and I can’t point out one particular dialogue from it.” Currently, Mandar is seen onscreen essaying the role of Bhide in SAB TV’s Taraak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and he is all praises for this sitcom: “I have grown as an actor.” And he also discloses that he has learned a lot from his co stars. “Dilip Joshi and Shailesh Lodha are great people to work with.
