Riya V Anandwala finds out her preferences in books and writers! Which book are you reading right now? Chasing the Monk's Shadow is the book I am into right now. Its penned by Mishi Saran What was the best part about this book? I have just started reading it, so can't divulge much. But basically it's about a Chinese momk's epic journey to India. What sorts of books do you indulge in? All! I mostly indulge in detective pieces, romantic, some of spy stories and of course can't get enough of humour. Is there any particular reason for you being so involved with books? Well, I never used to read too much as a kid, it started when I was all of 15. And it's more of an interest which gradually started building up. Tell us something about your collection? Well, I mostly buy books. Some of them are borrowed from my friends and yes I am a member of a library too. Which book has been the closest to your heart? I can't opt for one book, there are so many of them. P.G. Woodhouse will always stand out though. Any time you read a book, and then came to a conclusion that it was a sheer waste of time? If I find any book that is even a bit boring, I shut it then and there, I don't want to regret reading any book. Any regional language book you have read? Yes, I read Hindustani stories written by Ismat Chugtai, Premchand, well that's all I can recall at this short notice!
